A little about it all...A Note from
the Editor's
Well it started out as fun? Where did it all come from? Does anyone know where my bike is? Anyone know where my keys are? I did what?
When? Did anybody see? I'll be better tomorrow! So leave me alone... Don't talk so loud! It's how much?!
more to come...
Editors note!

Corner
Happy St. Patrick’s Day
Happy Easter
I cannot believe it’s already March can you?
Time flies when you’re paying the bills!
I remember growing up my Dad use to tell me, “slow down and enjoy
life because one day when you’re on your own and paying bills life
will fly by”. I am finding that he was right about that, and a lot
of other stuff he told me that is true in life.
He was a wise old man that I loved very much and this month would
have been his birthday. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t
think of him and the memories we shared. I was his little girl and
he was everything to me.
Well my little girl, God love her, celebrated her 19th birthday on
February 18th. Though my girls are still growing up and becoming
wonderful young women they will always be momma’s little girls, just
as I was in my Father’s eyes.
Miss Mollie wanted to have a special dinner so being the Momma I am;
I spent about 4 hours in the kitchen cooking her favorite meal,
dumplings, and three pans full! We all had a good time eating and
visiting. Sometimes it’s still hard for Miss Mollie and the changes
in our lives. She will ask for things not remembering that Momma is
limited on what she do but I got what I could get her, she ended up
loving it, and loving the time with the family. There was a lot of
laughter and hugs, pictures and love that night.
And that is what life is about. It’s not about the material things
you have or the gifts you receive but the people you love to share
the special times with. It’s the memories you make in life. So
“They” say a true parent never stops being a parent, and I do
believe that.
I do just as much for Miss Mollie that I’ll do for Hollie. The week
before Mollie’s birthday Hollie called me sick and I told her time
and time again she needed to go to the doctor. Well, on Sunday she
called and asked me to take her to the doctor, 24-years-old, and
still wanting Momma to go with her to the doctor’s office. I dropped
everything I was doing to go and was there for 2 ½ hours, her head
on my shoulders as we sat and waited together. I will have to say I
did aggravate her about it the whole time, that’s just me. But as
much as they are my little girls and the light of my life I am the
light of their life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. They know
I am there for them through thick and thin. I hope you all can have
a chance to have a relationship with your kids as I do.
On another note I have a prayer request for a dear friend of mine
Cliff Callis.
He is my attorney and has been for a little over 2 years. But the
thing about Cliff and about me is we are good friends too. Last
month, he went to have gall bladder surgery and has been in CCU with
a ventilator keeping him alive every since. Some days he’s better
but then there are days we don’t know what is going to happen to
him. Thinking about him and knowing he has lost 3 weeks of his life
not even knowing he was alive makes my heart hurt and sad. So please
remember him in your prayers. And also his Mom for he is all she
has. Also a big thanks to Eddie, another buddy of mine who has been
there everyday with Cliff keeping me informed of how he is. Thank
you Eddie.
That goes to show just like I have said before you never know what
life holds for you from one minute to the next. Live each day as if
it was your last one. You never know when it will be.
So until next month, keep your faith in the Lord and a smile on your
face.
You can overcome any thing.
